Queen Jade the Ruthless (Playthrough of Goblivion)

Queen Jade the Ruthless, cursed with red magic blobs that covered her ample bosom, gazed out from the parapets of her ancient stronghold, Castle Ruthless. Her muscly bodyguard, Dustin, stood quietly beside her. In the distance, she noticed a cloud of dust. What could that be? she thought to herself. She called for her scouts to check it out.
Reports came back quickly. An army of goblins was marching their way, destorying the countryside as they approached. They'd be here in three days. Three days was not much time to prepare, but it's all they had. Queen Jade called for every able bodied man living inside the castle and from the surrounding farmlands to meet Dustin in the courtyard to begin training.

Things did not begin well. The village idiot, Troy, accidentally killed one of the other farmers with a spear during the first training session.

Dustin decided to keep him away from any other weapons and make him a builder instead.

Three days passed quickly. Before they knew it, the goblins were at their front door.

The first goblins threw themselves at the front gate.

Bertrand, the castle's finest archer, took aim and fired arrow after arrow into the throng of green monsters. With his eagle eye, he was also able to spot what was coming next..

...and it was not pretty.

As the battle raged on, the forces of good still need more troops. They continued to pull in peasants from the surrounding areas and train them. They took anyone...

...and turned them into warriors.

Goblin magicians and goblins riding terrifying cows continued to storm the castle and Queen Jade's army continued to turn them back.

The swarms of goblins stopped attacking and pulled back? Had the battle been won? Just then, the ground began to shake. A giant goblin, no, wait, a troll, walked slowly and fiercely towards the walls of the keep.

Fortunately, the former village idiot turned builder Troy had not been sitting idly by during the battle. He had put his new skills to use and created a small contingent of mechanical golems. One of these was sent out now and made quick work of the troll.

Things seemed to be going well until the Troll King arrived. He bolstered his troops and send them into a violent fury, throwing their massive bodies against the castle walls and gates, shaking the entire hillside.

They broke through the gate. A giant skirmish ensued within the courtyard, soldiers pouring out of the barracks and goblins pouring through the remains of the gate.

The relentless horde continued, the biggest and baddest goblins jumping into the fray.

Yet again, Troy's golems came to the rescue. Their massive metal bodies pushed back the flubby trolls and goblins as the archers on the wall rained volley after volley of arrows upon them.

Then, as if coming off the pages of a fairy tale, the cow dragon itself arrived. The defenders quivered in fear, but their generals shouted for courage and bravey and they stood their ground. Dustin led his berserkers, Bertrand his archers, and Dustin sent forth, yet again, his mechanical monsters. When the dust settled, the beast lay dead within the courtyard and any remaining goblins headed for the hills. A terrible price had been paid, but the battle was won.

Queen Jade's lands would never be the same but when battle came again, her people would be ready.
