The Adventure is Almost at an End

My ruffians. Apparently FFG sent one of them into battle without weapons. Trying to get that fixed.

If you're sick of me talking about The Lord of the Rings, then you're in luck - I'm almost done my first campaign. I currently have the eleventh adventure set up downstairs and I think there are 12-14 in the base game campaign. After that my goal is to do two things: (1) dive back into designing and (2) try my best to figure how to play Renegade.

My last six adventures have been a little tumultuous. I want to be very careful to be spoiler free, but I had a mission where the skill checks were all VERY high before I had any chance to build up any inspiration or prepared cards to succeed. It felt like I had no chance to win. Little chance to win is ok sometimes, but no chance to win isn't fun for anyone (at least not for me).

The last few adventures have been better. I definitely have the same concerns and problems as I mentioned in previous posts, but I also can't stop playing. Every spare second I run downstairs to get in a few more turns to see what I can find and what I can kill. I've been able to level up all of my weapons, armor, and items at least once and I've also received several cool titles for each player. Definitely adds some more variety and fun to the decks.

When I finish this campaign, I'll have enough information to do a complete review. That should be coming soon, hopefully end of the week.
