Don't Get Obliterated! (Playthrough of Heroes of Tenefyr)

The brave barbarian-thief had battled through the last of dungeon's creatures. Piles of gold and jewels lay before him. Finally, the spoils of war!

But what's this? A giant, Shelob-esque beast dropped from the ceiling in front of him. How could such a behemoth move so quietly?

The creature lunged forward at a surprising speed. Our brave hero pulled out his battle axe just in time to obliterate the attack, keeping those gross, wiggly fangs from his throat.

The Spider Queen didn't wait, but pounced again. Surprisingly, the barbarian-thief used the same maneuver again to deflect the attack. This was not something this ancient denizon expected. Then our hero pressed the attack, using a calculated attack and a little bit of luck.

The Queen tried a different tactic. She studied her opponent's movements, looking for weaknesses. Were there any basic moves he utlized that she could exploit? Unfortunatley for her, she couldn't find any chinks in his armor. In fury, she threw herself at him again. He quickly recovered from the attack, slashing with all his might. After he energy was spent, he performed a surprise attack of his own.

Never before had she faced such a foe. The Spider Queen knew when she'd been beat and so she quickly worked on an escape plan. She didn't have time, though. The barbarian-thief lept and obliterated the Spider Queen.
